By booking a service with Origins of Adventure (a DBA of AnaNick LLC), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Scope of Services

Origins of Adventure (a DBA of AnaNick LLC) provides custom travel planning, consulting, and hosted travel experiences. Our offerings may include:

  • Trip design, itinerary creation, and destination consultation
  • Assistance coordinating accommodations, transportation, and activities
  • Optional hosted or guided experiences during travel

We do not currently operate as a licensed seller of travel. While we may assist in arranging or recommending bookings, all reservations are made directly between the client and the third-party provider (such as hotels, ferries, or rental car companies).
Clients are responsible for submitting their own payment information and entering into any agreements with those providers.

Origins of Adventure does not collect or process payment for third-party travel services and is not the merchant of record for any such transactions.

Our hosted travel services involve accompanying clients in destination for logistical support and guidance, not as a licensed tour operator.

2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to the following:

  • Verify that all booking details (names, dates, passport data, etc.) are correct prior to confirmation.
  • Acknowledge that Origins of Adventure acts solely as an intermediary between clients and third-party suppliers. Any changes, cancellations, or claims must comply with each supplier’s policy.
  • Maintain appropriate travel insurance (medical, trip interruption, cancellation, and baggage protection) as a condition of booking.
  • Understand that Origins of Adventure is not liable for disruptions, cancellations, or issues caused by airlines, hotels, tour companies, or weather.

3. Assumption of Risk & Travel Insurance

Travel inherently involves risks beyond our control, including weather, political instability, health concerns, natural events, or transportation delays. By engaging our services or participating in hosted travel, you voluntarily assume these risks.

All clients are strongly encouraged — and may be required — to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, and personal belongings. Proof of coverage may be requested before trip departure.

Origins of Adventure is not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, or additional expense arising from events outside our control, whether insured or uninsured.

4. Limitation of Liability

Origins of Adventure shall not be liable for:

  • Acts of third-party providers
  • Lost items, injury, or financial loss
  • Trip interruptions or changes beyond our control

We aim to provide a great experience, but cannot guarantee the performance of external services.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Origins of Adventure offers several types of services. Because each service is custom-built and time-intensive, our refund and cancellation policies vary by product:

5.1. Origins Outline™ & Origins Express™

These services are delivered as one-time, custom digital products. Once planning has begun or the strategy call has been completed, no refunds will be issued. If you need to reschedule your call, you may do so with at least 24 hours’ notice.

5.2. Origins Hosted™

Hosted travel services require significant time and date coordination. Policies are as follows:

  • Local or single-day trips (e.g. within Spain): Full payment is due at time of booking and is non-refundable.
  • Multi-day or international trips: A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your dates. The remaining balance is due following the planning call and itinerary review.
  • Once planning has begun, all payments are non-refundable.
  • Due to the complexity and limited availability of hosted travel, rescheduling is not permitted after planning has started unless exceptional circumstances apply and availability allows. Any approved changes may incur an additional fee.

5.3. Travel Strategy Session™ & Travel Tune-Up Call™

These are one-time, time-blocked services. Payment is due at the time of booking and is non-refundable. Reschedules are allowed with at least 24 hours’ notice.

By purchasing a service from Origins of Adventure, you agree to the applicable policy above and acknowledge that our services are non-refundable once planning, scheduling, or delivery has begun.

Certain services, including Origins Hosted™, may require a signed waiver of liability prior to the start of travel. Clients will be notified in advance and provided a digital form to review and sign.

6. Travel Risk Acknowledgment

By participating in a trip or using a travel-related service offered by Origins of Adventure, you acknowledge that all travel involves inherent risk. We are not liable for delays, injuries, force majeure events, or third-party issues outside our control.

7. Custom Services & Delivery

All services provided are custom-built and may be delivered digitally or in person, depending on the service type.

  • Digital services (such as itinerary planning, strategy calls, and custom maps) are delivered electronically after client intake and consultation.
  • In-person services (such as hosted or guided travel experiences) are provided on location, with Origins of Adventure offering logistical support, coordination, and local guidance.

Delivery timelines vary based on client intake, destination complexity, and service tier.

8. Jurisdiction & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in Miami-Dade County, Florida.

9. Supplier Responsibility

Origins of Adventure does not own, operate, or control any third-party suppliers, including hotels, transportation companies, activity providers, or other travel-related services.
We act solely as an intermediary in arranging or recommending these services on your behalf.

Accordingly, we are not responsible for:

  • Any acts, errors, or omissions of third-party suppliers
  • Failure of a supplier to provide services as booked
  • Changes to availability, schedules, or quality of services
  • Injury, damage, loss, or delay caused by a supplier or its personnel
  • Financial insolvency, overbooking, or cancellations by third parties

All travel arrangements are subject to the supplier’s terms, conditions, and limitations of liability.

10. On-the-Ground Conduct

During any hosted or guided travel experience, clients agree to follow reasonable directions from their host or guide to ensure safety, cultural respect, and adherence to local laws.
Origins of Adventure reserves the right to withdraw participation or terminate services for any client whose behavior:

  • Jeopardizes safety, property, or the experience of others, or
  • Violates local laws or customs.

No refunds will be issued in such cases, and any additional costs incurred as a result of removal or misconduct will be the responsibility of the client.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a service, submitting payment, or otherwise using the website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you make a payment through an online checkout or Stripe payment link, your completion of that transaction constitutes electronic acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
